This is a development log (DevLog) by Kay Vincent, for the Level 2 Games Design course at Barnsley College.
I've been trying to get my head round Unreal Engine 5 for the last couple of months, but have only been able to spend a few hours a week on the project so far, due to Christmas being a ridiculously busy time for my craft business LaserSister.com. (I've been making a lot of these things recently and selling them through Amazon Handmade.):

Aelinor Game
Story/narrative:
Aelinor is in the heart of the forest, inside the elven border. It is a living structure formed from soul trees over hundreds of years, but in the last few months it has started to show signs of decay and corruption.

Main objective/goal:
The forest around Aelinor has become corrupted, and Aelinor itself is gradually failing. You must find out why, and then find out how to save it. | |

Each level will give the player clues about how to solve the puzzles

Mechanics (e.g. throwing a fireball, opening a door): | Zoom in to read a note. Pick up bottles for inventory. Pour contents of bottles into cauldron.
